Rose Booth

Authentic Pilates Certified Instructor

Born in the U.K., Rose moved to Auckland’s North Shore at the age of 10. She has had successful careers in both fashion and as an international travel crew member.  A passionate sailor and dancer, she discovered Classical Pilates through a friend who was training as an Apprentice.  Finding that it helped her combat jetlag and maintain her fitness levels, she quickly became hooked.  Over time, the method of subtle strengthening was able to truly clear up her lingering occupational back pain and Rose decided that she wanted to explore a career in Pilates.

A member of the inaugural Authentic Pilates National Education Centre NZ training programme, Rose is a fully certified instructor and is loving being able to see the visible benefits to the bodies and minds of those she is teaching.

Rose is currently teaching at the Authentic Pilates Studio Rothesay Bay, and is looking forward to also completing her primary school teaching qualifications this year.

Hannah Baldwin

Authentic Pilates Certified Instructor

Hannah grew up in Hamilton and attended Sacred Heart Girls Collage before moving to Auckland to study interior design. She was a competitive swimmer as a child and then started attending the gym regularly. She found her passion for Pilates first as a client in Melbourne when she realised the workouts gave her intensity and strength without her old imbalances and injuries flaring up. When she moved back to New Zealand, she left the design industry, started working at Les Mills and became part of the fitness world.

During her maternity leave in 2015, she met a fellow Mum at a swimming lesson who talked to her about Pilates.  This began her journey towards becoming a Pilates instructor herself. Hannah is one of the original graduates of the Authentic Pilates Education International teacher training programme and we are proud to have her teach with us.

When not teaching Hannah is kept busy with her gorgeous son Oscar.

Hannah is loving sharing her knowledge with her clients and passionate about helping them progress and achieve their goals. Having suffered numerous injuries herself she has great empathy for those going through the rehabilitation process.
