With an extensive background in water based sporting activities Neil has completed more than 90 triathlons & multisport events.  Neil started utilising Pilates to help build core strength, increase flexibility & balance and stretch – all important for his swimming, cycling and running and maintaining overall good health.

Originally trained as a secondary school teacher, Neil spent the last 28 years working in the corporate environment with management and senior management roles in Technical Service, Business, Human Resources and Process Improvement areas. A common theme throughout his career has been the training & coaching aspects of the various roles and in working with employee, supervisory and senior leadership teams to effectively drive leadership development, change management and business process improvement.

Outside of his business qualifications, Neil is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Black Belt Coach. He is an Ironman University Certified Coach, a certified Personal Trainer, certified Health Coach and is fully certified in Classical Pilates by the Authentic Pilates Education International.

We are so lucky to have him teaching at the Authentic Pilates Studio Rothesay Bay, Neil is passionate about helping others discover how they can learn to drive change and make improvements to their professional and personal lives. Now semi-retired, Neil is excited to combine both the professional and sporting aspects of his training and coaching experience to help others, whilst of course maintaining his own active & healthy lifestyle.
